The Ravine trail is about a one mile walk. It is very well marked and has stone steps on the steep grades that make for an easy trek for those used to walking in rugged terrain. The fall color has mostly gone when I took this trip but you can see how it would be a good hike for you and your family. I was unable to get a photo but there were several deer I was keeping on the move, likely if one was to sit for awhile you would see one of Maine's whitetails in this rustic environment only a few minutes from downtown Brewer, Maine.
